RRC

Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon is an international symbol of commitment to both drug prevention and the fight against HIV/AIDS. The Red Ribbon Foundation, established in 1993, focuses on educating people about the prevention of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), ARC (AIDS-Related Complex), and AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome).

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) works to harness the potential of young people by equipping them with accurate, age-appropriate information on HIV/AIDS prevention, care, support, and treatment.

Its core objective is to empower youth to make informed and responsible decisions, thereby contributing to the creation of an HIV/AIDS-free India. The RRC strives to spread awareness about the causes, modes of transmission, and methods of prevention of HIV/AIDS among:

        •   Student youth

        •   Non-student youth

        •   The general public

Through education, outreach, and community participation, the Red Ribbon Club plays a vital role in strengthening the national response to HIV/AIDS.
