At Sakthi College of Arts and Science for Women, we strongly believe that internships bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world experience. Our students actively participate in internships across reputed organizations, media houses, NGOs, IT firms, research institutes, and creative industries. These internships help students gain practical exposure, enhance professional skills, and prepare them for successful careers in their chosen fields.
The IGNITE Startup Accelerator at Sakthi College of Arts and Science for Women is
designed to empower young women to transform their innovative and creative ideas into
successful entrepreneurial ventures. IGNITE provides an inspiring ecosystem that
encourages innovation, creativity, and leadership across all disciplines — from arts,
commerce, and science to technology and design.
Students are mentored through every stage of their entrepreneurial journey —
from idea development, business planning, and branding to prototype creation and marketing.
The program offers access to workshops, mentorship sessions, and incubation facilities
to help students refine their ideas into viable startups. Financial guidance and
institutional support are also provided to ensure a smooth startup journey.
IGNITE has inspired many young women entrepreneurs who now confidently lead
their own ventures and contribute to society through creativity and innovation.
